Several readers (my wife, daughters, a couple of close friends and the dog) suggested collecting these columns and self-publishing them as a book in the hope that it might find its way on to the nostalgia/local history shelves at Smith's or Waterstone's.
This website is the cheaper and far less complicated alternative.
The plan is to add the occasional piece, but don't hold your breath. Intentions, especially mine, have a habit of running out of steam.
Thank you for visiting and if you spot errors I'd appreciate an email.
The website was designed and made by Adam Hacking to whom I'm very grateful. There will eventually be a link to his site.
